UTFC entered two 6 a side teams into the Newick 6 A Side yearly Tournament, both teams were made up of UTFC players from various teams.

It was the usual big event 4 pitches, and 20 odd teams, both the UTFC sides proceeded with some good results into the knock out rounds with the UTFC 2nd team losing out in the quarters, and the more senior UTFC team going all the way, and beating Maresfield in the final to lift the Cup.
