Black and White Photography  This Gallery I will post Black and White, (monocrome) images, that I have shot in some format. Some may be old neg shots that have been scanned and converted, and other shot on digital and converted to Black and White via CS3, I will try and give details on what I have done to produce the image. This Gallery is generally just experiments on how Black and White can be converted to be produced digitally and printed digitally to see how close it can be bought to old Black and White Neg Film. I have been playing with some film of late, and scanning in the negs and converting them to digital, and more often than not to Black and white. I have found you can still get great results, and a smoother look to the image, even after scanning them and printing. There are a few shots that are mono but with a hint of color left in, often to highlight a area of the image. © Brett Butler 11/09/2008
