Taking photos has been part of my life since I was quite young, although I never pursued it as a career, I have always enjoyed trying to capture that moment. My Photography life has always been a love hate affair, and I would not use a camera for many many months at a time, only until recently have I really taken it very seriously, I suppose it was the Digital Age, and the fact you can just snap away with no worries of cost of films and processing, but it is in the last Six/Nine months or so, that I really got the bug again. I prefer taking sports shots, Local Teams, People I know, or candid shots of them unaware that will give a true reflection of them in Real Life. I have helped out at a few weddings in my time, (many years ago) but never would take the responsibility to be the only Photographer at the event. Touched base a few times on music/live gigs, again quite challenging with the poor light but good fun. As Part of my photography skills I am trying to diverse onto other subjects, Wildlife, Landscapes, quite relaxing, and most enjoyable. I Use Canon Equipment, and lenses, and try and keep to Canon if possible, although I do have a couple of non Canon Lenses, but I am still not convinced they match the quality of Canon Lenses all though you pay a premium price for the privilege or the Canon Brand. The most frustrating Lens loss, is Canon 10-22 EFS, there is not an equal equivalent lens in this range for a Canon 1.3 Crop. At some point in time, I would like to acquire a FF DSLR, much more suitable for certain types of shooting that I intend like to try in the future. Most of the images on this site have been run through the usual PP, (post production in Photoshop) as per the Canon white paper related to Canon DSLR cameras, NR may have been used on some of the High ISO shots, and some small amount of contrast and USM/High Pass Sharpening. The images are all in JPG medium format, but Printed versions would be a higher quality. Image prints up to generally A3+, or 19" wide, and as long as you want. on various types of media, canvas, art paper, the Printer being HP B9180, although for bulk under 5"x7" it is better to use an online print shop. Larger Prints are available to pretty much any size, but it is all depending how the image was shot, and cropping required. Just a note regarding taking Photographs these days, below is a copy quote from the organization BFP (Bureau of Freelance Photographers) regarding taking photographs in Public Places:- ![]() If there any prints you like, Email
